Kevin Barry - Managing Director

Kevin founded Green Circle in 2002 and is the driving force behind the business. With a background in business and marketing, he has spent his career working in the FMCG sector. An entrepreneur at heart, Kevin is passionate about discovering new products, exploring new markets, and building strong strategic partnerships.  Supporting a team of around 40 people across Ireland and the UK, Kevin is guided by the Green Circle vision: “To create a better quality of life for all our stakeholders.”   At the core of his approach — both in business and in life — is a strong belief in building meaningful relationships based on trust and mutual respect.

Deirdre Barry -  Operations Director

Deirdre holds an MSc in Personal and Management Coaching and brings wide‑ranging experience in business administration, change management, and organisational planning. With an inclusive and practical management style, she oversees the company’s day‑to‑day operations, supporting the team and helping ensure everything runs smoothly.

Grainne Leonard - Irish Channel Team Lead 

Gráinne has been a valued member of the Green Circle trading team since 2008. With experience across both the Irish and UK markets, she now leads our Irish Channel team. Over the years, Gráinne has built up extensive customer and product knowledge, which she uses to help deliver strong, competitive offerings. Working closely with our buyers, she focuses on sourcing the right products at the best possible prices for her customers. Passionate about creating value through a strong product strategy, Gráinne is always happy to work with customers to uncover new opportunities that can help their businesses grow.

Sinead O' Connor - Business Development Manager (Munster & Connacht)

Having spent several years in our trading department, Sinéad naturally progressed into the role of Munster & Connacht Business Development Manager. Over the years, she has built strong relationships with customers, which she continues to develop through regular one‑to‑one engagement across the Munster and Connacht regions.  Sinéad is passionate about growing sales, welcoming new customers, and ensuring the highest standards of customer satisfaction — both in product range and service. Shane O Connor - Business Development Manager (Leinster)

Shane is our Business Development Manager for Leinster and brings over 20 years of experience in the FMCG Food and Beverage industry to the company.  He has worked extensively across retail, foodservice, and wholesale channels, giving him deep insight into customer and market needs. Conor O Neill - Business Development Manager (Ulster)

Conor is our Business Development Manager for Ulster and the newest member of the Green Circle team. He brings a wealth of experience across the FMCG sector, having previously worked with brand owners, within a family‑run business, and across cross‑border trade, where he delivered optimal solutions for his customers. Having worked in a family business, Conor has a unique understanding of the retail sector from the perspective of an owner‑manager. Philip Dowling - Trading Account Manager

Michelle Murphy - Trading Account Manager

Michelle joined the company in 2012 and is an experienced Trading Account Manager looking after key accounts across Ireland and the UK. She has a strong focus on the clearance channel, working closely with customers to maximise opportunities, manage stock efficiently, and deliver strong commercial results.
